WCTV has once again teamed up with the Southeastern Community Blood Center for a blood drive. Four locations in our area are just waiting for you to make a lifesaving deposit, and you'll get a t-shirt in return.
Donnie Dye says if it hadn't been for blood donations he may not have made it through several unexpected surgeries.
Dye says, "Any given day, one surgery or one major accident could wipe out the supply, so it's even more important people come out and give blood so the blood center can have a good supply at all times."
Bloodmobiles are located on Thomasville Road next to Albertson's and Books-A-Million, and Governor's Square near Dillards. In Valdosta, SCBC is set up inside the Colonial Mall, and in Thomasville the Bloodmobile is at the Market Diner.
All locations will be open until seven o'clock Thursday evening.
