Tomatoes Back

Agriculture officials blame Hurricane Wilma for the pricey produce, but there's some good news. The cost of tomatoes is now taking a plunge.

Gadsden County agriculture officials say the brunt of the problems occurred down south. Tomato crops in this area were not affected by the storms.

Dr. Henry Grant says, "We had some rain damage, but all in all compared to other parts of the state we faired okay."

Tomato lovers can now expect to see more red in your salads and at the grocery stores without having to pay extra for the produce.
