Tallahassee police say three teenagers are responsible for setting an early morning fire at Hawk's Rise Elementary School.
Investigators say the teens ages 14, 16 and 17 set fire to notebook paper and threw it into a trash can. The flames caused smoke damage and charring to an overhang.
Damage is estimated at about $1,100. The boys apparently lived in the area. Two were former Hawk's Rise students. They are facing charges of second degree arson and trespassing.
The Tallahassee Fire Department says in the last few days it's responded to several fires thought to be set by juveniles in Killearn Lakes and another in Golden Eagle.
Investigators urge parents to keep an eye on their kids and remind them of the dangers.
