A Quincy man is on the run and the Leon County Sheriff's Office needs your help finding him.
Detectives say Derrick Sweet is wanted for stabbing an acquaintance at a Tallahassee night club last weekend. It happened early Sunday morning at Leon County's Riverfront entertainment center.
Officers say the fight between the two men started two weeks ago at the Thug Club in Quincy. Investigators say when they saw each other again, that's when Sweet approached the man and stabbed him several times in the stomach.
SGT Chris Chase of the Leon County Sheriff's Office says, "Sweet is known to be violent criminal history and he's considered armed and dangerous at this time."
Derrick Sweet is facing attempted murder charges. If you've seen him or know of his whereabouts, call the Leon County Sheriff's Office at 850-922-3300.
