February is just around the corner, but it's not just about roses and heart candies. It's also a time many health organizations focus on heart issues.
This year Tallahassee Memorial Hospital is highlighting sudden cardiac death. Health experts say with SCD the victim may or may not have symptoms or even be diagnosed with heart disease.
TMH's Lisa Mullee says, "Some patients that would be more prone would be those with precious heart disease or may have damage to the heart muscle."
If you'd like to learn more about sudden cardiac death there will be a free seminar Thursday, February 2. For information on this and other heart related events, call (850) 431-CARE.
