Florida State University takes a trip back in time! The Suwannee Room dining hall that once served as the dining hall when FSU was a women's college has been restored and reopened.
Saturday morning beginning at 11:00 a.m., FSU will have the official grand opening and tour. Some of the graduates of the women's college will be on hand.
"We are trying to bring out the history of the university on campus where students can see it, touch it, feel it, and you don't just have to go to a library," says FSU President T.K. Wetherell.
The old bell, which was rang to call the women to dinner, will ring once more.
