About 200 people turned out Saturday night at the Lee Jackson Banquet in Tallahassee to listen to Colonel Jeb Stuart IV.
He's the great grandson of the famous confederate cavalry leader, Major General Jeb Stuart.
Saturday night he talked about the man behind the legend.
"It's just great opportunity for southern people to get together and honor our heroes and cherish our southernness and our commonalities," said Bob Hurst, the commander of the David Lang Camp.
The Lee-Jackson Banquet is held every year in honor of confederate generals Robert E. Lee and "Stonewall" Jackson.
