It may have been a cold start Sunday morning, but that didn't stop hundreds of bikers from gassing up and hitting the streets.
It's the Third Annual Memorial Run to raise money to help with the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge located in Gainesville, Florida.
Organizers wanted to see at least 600 riders and at $10 a piece. That's a big donation.
Beth Smallwood, the event coordinator, says, "Lee Woodall was a friend of mine, very close to my heart, very close to the community; found out he had cancer. We did a benefit that helped raise some of the medical expenses. That's how we learned of the Hope Lodge and houses all these patients free of charge regardless if they have insurance or not."
Friends say Lee Woodall wanted the poker run to carry on after his death, raising thousands of dollars for the Hope Lodge each year.
