Black history comes to Tallahassee Community College as a rather unique exhibit tells the story of America's dark past from slavery through the civil rights movement.

Angela Jennings, curator of the Sankofa African-American Museum on Wheels, displays harsh reminders of segregation and lynchings.

The museum also highlights accomplishments of black inventors and those who broke color barriers.

Jennings says she started the museum to educate future generations.

"My nephew was a straight A student in school, and I gave him a fifth and sixth grade black history test and he failed it. I knew from that test that he wasn't getting his information from school," says Jennings.

The next stop for the museum is Lakeland, Florida.
