Twenty members of the Florida A&M Marching 100 were high steppin' it at the Grammys Wednesday night.
Back in Tallahassee, the rest of the Marching 100 was cheering them on.
Almost 50 band members were crowding around the television in an apartment to watch their mates perform with Kanye West and Jamie Foxx.
These students say performing in the Grammys is an honor the entire band can share.
Rosie McCloud, a clarinet player, says, "Even though we're not there physically it's like more than a privilege for them to be where they are and they're representing not only themselves but the Marching 100 from Dr. Foster on down to the present band members."
Martell Davis, a trombone player, added, "It's a great honor and pleasure for me being a part of this great band. I'm proud of my fellow bandmates and I wish them well."
Members of the Marching 100 have been in Los Angeles since Friday rehearsing with West and Fox. They will return to Tallahassee Thursday.
