Tallahassee firefighters say an overnight house fire was set intentionally.
Firefighters were called out to a house on Floral Street around 1:30 Wednesday morning. They say the fire was started in two different places in the duplex.
Once the fire was put out investigators collected debris samples to send off for forensic analysis.
"Evidence indicated something of suspicious origin, so we called out our investigator to further follow up the investigation and we did find that it was a result of arson," said CAPT John Gatlin of the Tallahassee Fire Department.
Fire investigators estimate damages around $5,000. If you know anything about this crime, you're urged to call the fire department at (850) 891-FIRE.
