Gadsden County deputies say around 11 p.m. Friday night Glenn Corwin McLeroy shot Christopher Gilcrist several times on an overpass in Chattahoochee.
Authorities say McLeroy got out of his car and starting firing at Gilcrist.
Deputies say McLeroy was upset because Gilcrist was dating his former girlfriend.
MAJ James Morgan of the Gadsden Sheriff's Office says, "The two were arguing about a young lady that one of them was seeing and shot at him three times, but only hit him twice once in the left temple and in the right hand.”
Deputies are still investigating this incident. Meanwhile, McLeroy is being held in the Gadsden County Jail, charged with attempted murder.
His bond is set at $75,000.
