Local bikers are shedding their locks for a good cause. It's the 2003 Poker Run at the American Legion in Tallahassee and over 60 bikers made an appearance.
The “rough and tough" guys got a make over today as they clipped off more than 10 inches of hair for kids. It's charity for the National Children's Cancer Society and Lock of Love.
Fifteen ponytails make a wig that's given to kids who have lost their hair to illness.
"We always say if you want to see the spirit of America, tell a biker about a sick child," said biker Jeff Hodge.
Hodge says it takes about two years to grow his hair long enough to be donated, he gave the needed 10 inches. Hodges said the biker's have been chopping their locks for kids for the past decade.
