Protection From Florida's Inspection Stations

A man is arrested for having marijuana in his rented moving truck. This is only one small example of the things caught at the Florida Agricultural Department's interdiction stations along state highways.

Along with K-9s to inspect for illegal items, Ag officers have gamma ray units that can x-ray the contents of a truck in seconds.

This past Friday, a truckload of untaxed cigarettes was found in a tractor trailer on I-75. Saturday, Jose Ledesma and Hary Quezada were busted at the Suwannee County station on I-10 for trying to hide $4 million worth of pot.

On that latest bust the agriculture department was assisted by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, FDLE, and the Suwannee County Sheriff's Department.
