Two security officers at the Florida Supreme Court have lost their jobs. One has been fired and one has resigned in the face of an FDLE investigation.
Court personnel records show Deputy Marshal Ramon Santos was fired because he may have stolen ammunition from FDLE and brought it to the Supreme Court.
Marshal Stephen Robertson resigned, but a letter in his personnel file says that resignation would only be accepted if there are “no negative developments in the Ray Santos incident.”
That's all we know right now because no one is talking. The Supreme Court spokesman, FDLE and the state attorney all declined comment Friday citing the pending criminal investigation.
