Owners and enthusiasts of the old Studebaker cars gathered at Myers Park Saturday afternoon to show off their collectibles and form a new club.
They plan to become the Tallahassee chapter of the National Studebaker Car Club Organization.
"It's a new club we're trying to organize for the car enthusiast, especially Studebakers. The Studebaker was really one of the more successful independent car companies back all the way through starting in the 1900's, all the way until 1964," says Scott Olson, a Studebaker owner and one of the organizers of the new club.
Olson says Studebaker was the first auto company after world war two to make cars with a sleek, smaller, sports-like design.
