A violent car accident leaves three people in critical condition and a fourth person in stable condition. Tallahassee police say their car drove head-on into a culvert on Tharpe Street, closing the road for more than an hour.
Eyewitnesses were able to pull the two men out of the front of the car. However, it took the Jaws of Life to remove the two women trapped in the back seat.
The 18 and 19-year-olds were transported to Tallahassee Memorial. One of the females is suffering from multiple skull fractures, the other with a broken neck. Police say one of the males in the car is being treated for bleeding on the brain and multiple leg fractures.
Police still don't know if they were wearing their seat belts or what caused the accident.
