There’s still no verdict in a federal lawsuit against several Jefferson County sheriff's deputies.
The jury has been trying for two days, but it's been sent home for the night and will have to try again Thursday.
The McCloud family waited outside the Tallahassee federal courthouse all day Wednesday as jurors inside deliberated for a second day, more than 15 hours in all.
The McClouds contend both mother and daughter were illegally strip searched on a Jefferson County highway back in 2001 and claim a subsequent search of their relatives' home was illegal too.
The five deputies involved say the McClouds were not strip searched that night, only patted down, and say they got consent to search the home.
The jury came back with several questions Wednesday afternoon, but no verdict.
