Friends and family of a man shot to death over the weekend were remembering him Wednesday night.
Residents at the Sunrise Apartments were coming together for a candlelight vigil in the same neighborhood where James Dickey was found dead.
Residents there were singing songs and saying prayers for the family.
"You can't nowadays do the eye for an eye, ear for an ear. We just have to let God have his way with them and let justice be served, and we just ask that peace is rested here in our apartment complex," said Felicia McNealy, who's a family friend of Dickey's sister.
On Monday police arrested Carlus Fountain of Bainbridge, Georgia in connection with the shooting. He's charged with first degree murder and attempted armed robbery with a firearm.
