The student political action committee Ground Zero is holding a roundtable discussion at FAMU’s School of Journalism and Graphic Communications.
Topics include religion, women in politics, and other so called "progressive issues."
This is the first event of its kind put on by Ground Zero.
"So many times we are addressed from across the podium or the pulpit and not enough times do we have the opportunity to speak with people on a one to one basis with people who really shape and form legislation on our behalf,” says Amanda Wilkerson of Ground Zero.
Ground Zero organizers say this roundtable discussion is one of many events to come from the group in the near future.
