Southwood residents are hoping the city can provide transportation to help neighbors get from point A to point B.
Starmetro was hosting an open house Monday night for residents to discuss what types of transportation options they'd like to see in their neighborhood. Aside from walking and biking, many are talking about van and carpooling.
Herb Salyer says he's planning for his future when he'll no longer be able to drive.
"There would be transportation for me to go to the grocery store or to the doctor or wherever I would need to go at that time."
One idea being discussed is a commuter service between Southwood and downtown Tallahassee that would take Koger Center employees right to the business complex.
