Autopsy: Murder Victim Shot

Deputies now confirm a Tallahassee man, who collapsed and died in the street Wednesday night, was shot to death.

Autopsy findings show 39-year-old Darhyl Martin was shot multiple times. He literally stumbled into the street and died Wednesday night at the corner of Fourth and Old Bainbridge.

Investigators are not commenting on a motive right now, or a suspect, but say they are certain there are several eyewitnesses to the shooting.

SGT Tim Baxter of the Leon County Sheriff's Office says, "There's a store there, and there are always people hanging out in the parking lot, and at that time of night there were multiple people out in the parking lot. There are witnesses to this incident. It happened in front of some houses. Somebody saw what happened. We're getting some information, but we're not getting the full story or we'd have someone in custody already."

Anyone with information on the shooting of Darhyl Martin is asked to call Crimestoppers at 891-HELP.
