Memory Loss Sufferers Need Not Be Alone

On Saturday the Adult Day Services of the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital held an open house in honor of their "Forget Me Not" program.

This allowed people to see the services offered to those who suffer from Alzheimer’s or other memory loss illnesses.

"Who benefits from it are both the caregivers and persons who have memory impairments and illnesses such as Alzheimer’s Disease. For the person with the illness who are often isolated, they can enjoy activities," explained Tom McGough of the Alzheimer Resource Center.

These activities include painting, music therapy and group discussions.
