Chattahoochee Boat Races

Seventy five miles per hour can get you a speeding ticket down I-10, or an adrenaline rush down the Chattahoochee River.

Racers spent Saturday and Sunday flying down the Chattahoochee River in Gadsden County.

The river is perfect for this 1,320 foot racetrack. It's the second time the Outboard Drag Boat Association has held the race here, and organizers say it's not a bad location.

Bruce Tripp, the president of the Outboard Drag Association, says, "The river has some issues, but because of the narrowness of it, it keeps the wind primarily off the course."

Crowds of all ages gathered to see how fast the boats can really go, hoping to grab an adrenaline ride of their own.
