Traffic Accident

A single-car accident has left a teenager fighting for her life. The crash happened just after 6 a.m. Saturday morning on Ox Bottom Road near Dartwood.

Nineteen-year-old Natasha Flood lost control while driving, and then hit a ditch. That's when her car flipped over.

Investigators say she was ejected from the car and rushed to Tallahassee Memorial Health Care where she is in critical condition.

LT Rory Robbins with the Leon County Sheriff's Office said, "It was very possible something could have run out in front of her. She swerved or she could have looked down for whatever reason, swerved to the other side of the road and lost control."

Deputies don't know if flood was wearing a seat belt when she crashed. They are still trying to find out why she lost control of the car.
