Riders of all ages were competing for top prize in their respective categories at Coventry Farms in Tallahassee.
Most of the 70 competitors in this horse show are from the Big Bend area. Judges rate them on their riding, jumping and horse control skills.
"Basically these kids take lessons and they work toward goals and a horse show kind of gives them something to work towards and working towards going into higher classes and going to bigger horse shows," explains Coventry Farms horse show organizer Alice Buford.
All the proceeds from this competition benefit The Caring Tree, a Big Bend hospice program that offers grief support to area children and teens.
