A man was found dead on his front porch, and now the Leon County Sheriff's Office is busy investigating what they are calling a suspicious death.
Deputies say neighbors on Wren Drive noticed 46-year-old William Hilton lying on his front porch around 8 a.m. Sunday morning.
When they drove by a few hours later, Hilton was still lying there. That's when they called authorities.
MAJ Mike Wood with the Leon County Sheriff's Office said, "There are some outward signs that give us cause for concern. It's very, very early, so we're not in any position to tell anything definite at this juncture other then the investigation is continuous."
Deputies say Hilton has lived at the house for quite a while. The Sheriff's Office does have homicide detectives investigating the suspicious death.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning.
