A woman who was stabbed repeatedly overnight is recovering from what police call a vicious attack by her own boyfriend.
Tallahassee police say 19-year-old Leundra Hart attacked his girlfriend in the Winn-Dixie parking lot and has been on the run ever since.
The TAC Team surrounded his home Thursday night, but he wasn't there. The woman is still hospitalized.
OFC John Newland, Tallahassee police spokesman, said, "She got stabbed multiple times in the eye, above the eye, on the cheek, the throat, also on the hand. The hand appears to be from a defensive move on her part. She's at TMH right now. She's in good condition and we expect her to fully recover from this, but we still need to find hart and put him in jail."
A judge signed off on warrants in the case. Hart faces attempted murder charges when he's caught.
