African American Voters Turn Out At Georgia Polls
If early voting in Georgia is any indication, African American voters could be playing a large part in the outcome of this year's election.

As of closing on Tuesday, the Secretary of State's office is reporting that more than 164,172 people have already voted early in Georgia, and nearly 40% of those voters were African American.

In Thomas County, election officials say they've not only seen a large turnout of voters of different races, but also all ages as well.

"We have seen a lot of African American voters even I mean we're having voters you know in their 90's that are now out voting for this election," said Thomas County Registrar official Eunice Cook.

This year's presidential election is expected to generate a high voter turnout on November 4th.

So officials hope early voting in Georgia will help with long lines on election day.
