An inmate found hanging in his cell at the Leon County Jail had written three increasingly irate letters to the judge in the months before his death.
Robert Baker was found dead in his cell Wednesday evening, and investigators ruled it a suicide the next day.
A check of Baker's court file shows he had written the judge three letters in the past few months wanting to know why it was taking so long to get a court date, and asking the judge not to send him back to the state mental hospital because, quote, "A lot of bad things go on there."
He wrote, "I'm not trying to tell you what to do. It's just that I'm a bit uncertain about my future."
