Sunday was a day of community service as members of the Temple Israel took to the streets of Tallahassee, with the purpose of spreading good cheer and good deeds.
More than three hundred members pitched in to volunteer at 23 different sites around the Capital City. All in part to observe their Second Annual Mitzvah Day.
"Mitzvah " means "commandment" and is a prayer in the form of an action.
Members of Temple Israel say Mitzvah Day is all about doing good deeds in the community.
