The Sunset Rotary Club's 4th Annual Wine Fest lured in a crowd of wine connoisseurs Saturday night at the Silver Slipper.
It's the club's big fundraiser for the year, and organizers say the money benefits several charities throughout the year.
"And one of the main things that we're going to be focusing on this year is our rotary youth camp. And the rotary youth camp is chaired actually by one of our members, one of our charter members of Sunset Rotary, and it's a wonderful opportunity for children with physical disabilities to go to a camp for two weeks. It's free to the attendees," said Jaimi Wacksman, chairperson of the winefest.
Organizers say the money raised is also used to fund rotary scholarships and to adopt needy families at Christmas.
