Under a bill signed by the governor Monday, Floridians will get a tax break when they buy energy-efficient appliances.
Gov. Jeb Bush was in Tampa when he approved a $100 million plan to chart the state's energy future for the next four years.
The bill includes an upcoming sales tax holiday in October for those buying energy-efficient appliances, and also makes research grants available to those studying alternative fuels.
