The Quinnipiac University poll found 60 percent of registered voters disapprove of the way President Bush is doing his job.
But the numbers are almost the opposite for the governor; 57 percent give Jeb Bush the thumbs up.
“Florida’s economy is booming and they give Jeb credit for it. The other thing is that much of President Bush’s rating problem seems to stem from the war in Iraq. Jeb Bush has nothing to do with that. Voters can distinguish between what a president does and what a governor does and just because they're brothers doesn't necessarily mean that they think of them the same,” explained Peter Brown of Quinnipiac University.
The survey questioned 1,311 registered Florida voters.
It has a margin of error of plus or minus three percentage points.
