On Friday crude futures closed at a record $77.03 a barrel, but there are ways to make your car more fuel efficient.
"By keeping your oil changed, fuel filters, air filters changed regularly and keeping your air pressure checked, just stuff like that will help you out a lot," explains Firestone mechanic Emerson Deckerhoff.
Advice to make your vehicle more fuel efficient is to always change your oil regularly, keep your fuel filters changed, keep your air filters clean and make sure your tires have the proper air pressure.
