More than 100 different species of birds from all over the world were on display at the North Florida Fairgrounds.
The society puts on a show twice a year, once in Tallahassee and in Dothan, Alabama in the fall Those who decided to take home a feathered friend say birds are a lot of fun and make good companions.
The Tri-State Avian Society is one of only two major bird clubs in the Big Bend.
