North Florida's not the only local spot to have fun this weekend. Folks from all over Southwest Georgia are heading to Bainbridge for the 2008 Decatur County Fall Festival and Fair.
The event sponsored by the Decatur County Chamber of Commerce, kicked off on Tuesday night and features thrilling rides, music and of course a whole lot of food.
"It has a great economic impact the vendors that are set up benefit from the traffic flow that comes through, the Chamber benefits obviously from it, and the people that are working here and spending their money in Bainbridge or Decatur County so we're seeing good revenue from that," said Adrienne Harrison of the Southwest Georgia Welcome Center.
The fair opens at 6 p.m. every night and will run through this coming Saturday night.
