Tuesday morning the old Thomasville Fire House off of Remington Avenue came crashing down.
Demolition crews tore the building down, and officials say new landscaping will go in its place.
The building used to house four personnel and two trucks around the clock. It's been replaced by the new EMS building located right behind it, complete with new and improved equipment.
But the old building isn't a total loss; officials say before it came down they found a newspaper dated from 1970.
