In September 2004, the bodies of 21-year-old Jamilla Byers and 22-year-old Bryan Dyson were found in a car at Tallahassee's Prince Murat Motel.
Ryan Hubbard was later arrested and accused of killing the couple. Prosecutors say they are prepared to introduce the evidence they have, even if the significant witness, Marcus Gould, can't be located by the start of the trial.
Hubbard could face the death penalty if convicted.
