Saturday, Kentucky Fried Chicken protesters lined Monroe Street in Tallahassee with signs reading "Kentucky Fried Cruelty."
The animal rights advocates claim chickens are mistreated before being slaughtered.
They have issued demands that KFC better treat it's future dishes.
"We are against the way they kill the animals. They inject hormones so mucles develop but lungs, heart and legs don't," said Will Sherman , a KFC protester.
KFC corporate spokeswoman, Bonnie Warschauer, says their animal welfare goal is the same as animal rights groups. She says KFC released new guidelines for animal treatment May 1st.
