A Thomasville, Georgia firefighter, considered by many as a hero, was laid to rest Saturday.
Hundreds packed the First Baptist Church in Thomasville for the funeral services of firefighter Charles Thomas Bryan, of Pavo, Georgia.
Bryan, affectionately known as "Tommy," died in a car accident on May 21. Those who remember him say he was fun to be around and spent a lot of time in church.
"Probably, the thing I remember the most is how he loved to come to church and he loved to always have a good time around things of God. He loved his Christian brothers and sisters in Christ," said Rev. Kevin Odom.
Bryan is survived by his wife, three sons, and a host of other family members. He was 29 years old.
