It all started when some nude pictures of a young girl were developed at a Tallahassee Wal-Mart. Employees called authorities who then traced the pictures back to Thomasville, that's where they caught up with a woman working at Thomas County Middle School and her neighbor.
Forty-six-year-old Dawn Snider was an aide to a special education teacher, and 49-year-old Robert Reifsnider is her neighbor. Through questioning, officers discovered the two were involved in more than just picture taking and charged them both with one count of child molestation. Snider is also being charged with one count of child enticement.
They live in a mobile home park on the 750 block of East Pinetree Boulevard in Thomasville, which is full of families and small children.
Residents did not want to reveal their identity but were shocked to find out their neighbors were arrested for child molestation, and worry about their own children.
"I don't like it at all. I don't want them around people like that."
They were even more shocked to find out one of them worked with students at Thomas County Middle School.
"I'm really mad because this man stays right beside me, and the lady stays beside me. They better not come back out here because there's a lot of children out here."
Snider and Reifsnider are being held without bond at the Thomas County Jail. The superintendent says he has already sent Snider her letter of termination.
