A Massachusetts couple expecting their new baby any minute says not only did a state trooper not help them as they rushed to the hospital, he wrote them a ticket.
Jennifer and John Davis wrote a letter to the paper explaining they were jammed up in traffic trying to get to the Hospital.
The couple says they started driving in the breakdown lane, which is illegal.
They said two state troopers waived them through, once they found out Jennifer was in labor.
The Davis' say a third trooper pulled them over and even after making Jennifer show him her belly to prove she was pregnant, he still made them wait while he wrote up a citation.
A police spokesman said the trooper who gave the ticket made a decision to enforce the breakdown lane law.
The couple says they do plan to appeal the ticket, but are still not sure if they are going to file a complaint against the officer.

Good comments Quincy, I agree 100 percent
I HAVE A COMMENT! Anyone on here who has never been in labor, shut up! Also anyone who isn't from MASS and hasn't seen Rt 2 at rush hour. The same thing happened to me on september 11th and I am going to court over it on the 30th. They were not driving wrecklessly, in fact I believe the news anchor said her husband was driving "slowly in the breakdown lane" because they were given PERMISSION.
Do you people read on here..it never said they were driving erraticially and nuts. It just said they were in the breakdown lane.
