A car chase that started in Lowndes County ended in Thomas County early Thursday morning, and investigators say the driver was running from more than a speeding ticket.
Thomas County Sheriff's investigators say it's believed the driver, 22-two-year-old, Leshon Williams robbed and shot an Atlanta man.
A gun and the wallet of the victim, Warner Boel, was found in Williams' car where the chase ended at the intersection of Smith Avenue and Pinetree. Williams faces numerous traffic charges, other charges are pending.
