Student Enrollment Up for TCC

Administrators blame the low numbers on a booming economy and two years of hurricanes.

Meanwhile, the number of students enrolling at Tallahassee Community College is on the rise.

Over the last three years, TCC's growth has accounted for two thirds of all enrollment growth among Florida's 28 colleges.

Bill Law, president of TCC, says there is a rising number of African-Americans and Hispanic students enrolling at the college.
