The North Florida Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested a man wanted on armed robbery charges out of Broward County in Tallahassee.
Agents found 30-year-old Prentiss Bobby Staten off of South Gadsden Street. They were tipped off that he was living in the area. Staten is wanted on two counts of armed robbery and is believed to be involved in several other robberies around the state. He's awaiting extradition to Broward County in the Leon County Jail.
Dennis Williamson, United States Marshal, said, “Fugitives like Staten are of high interest to our agency, and all available resources will be used to apprehend as quickly as possible by our task force. These investigators are dedicated professionals and our success is due to the support we receive from other law enforcement agencies.”
Without it, the deputies and the investigator’s job would be a lot more difficult.
