A mother accused of stashing her newborn baby in a bag and fleeing the hospital won't spend much time in jail for it.
Melody Robinson was in court Thursday morning. She pleaded no contest to charges of interfering with child custody. She'll be released from jail next week and will then spend three years on probation.
Robinson fled from Tallahassee Memorial Hospital after giving birth to a little boy in July.
Police say her baby tested positive for cocaine and child welfare workers had told her earlier in the day they'd be taking the baby away.
