A man accused of growing more than 100 marijuana plants under cover of the Apalachicola National Forest was in court Thursday to face drug trafficking charges.
Fifty-four-year-old George Colby was arrested when he showed up to water the pot plants one morning in June.
He could have faced years in prison for trafficking in marijuana, but this plea deal got him 60 days in jail and two years probation instead.
