The FAMU-FSU College of Engineering is set to receive millions of dollars in computer software.
The college received a grant of $12.8 million from software provider UGS Corporation.
Engineering college dean C.J. Chen says the new software will give engineering students the edge they need to succeed in today's world.
"Students will learn firsthand what the industry is actually using. We can prepare the students for a better entry into the industry," said Chen.
Officials with FAMU, who received the software grant, say this is the largest of its kind in FAMU's history.
