Former Georgia School Superintendent Linda Schrenko will be serving prison time in Tallahassee.
Schrenko was recently sentenced to eight years in prison for funneling federal funds into her 2002 campaign and even into a brand new face lift.
Word from the U.S. Marshals is that Schrenko will do her time at FCI in Tallahassee because there is no federal women's prison in Georgia. She was ordered to report to FCI by September 11.
FCI spokesman Jason Stiles says he can't comment on Schrenko, but says women at the low security prison are housed in dorm style cells and must work seven hours a day.
